The Phoenix Hotel was the venue for the Queen Street & West Woollahra Associations Annual Dinner on June 13^th, 2023. Outside it may have been cold and blustery but inside, the atmosphere was warm and inviting as 80 guests reconnected with old friends and introduced themselves to new friends from our Woollahra village. The evening started off with drinks accompanied by a talented guitarist. On sitting down to eat, two guests discovered they were the lucky winners of the door prizes, two bottles of champagne each with two flutes very kindly donated by Jim’s Cellars.  Guests then enjoyed an excellent three course meal accompanied by a selection of the Phoenix’s fine wines. Everyone was generous in entering into the raffle and we are very grateful to Parterre, Pigott’s Store and The Phoenix for their very kind donation of raffle prizes and to Summers Floral for their help with the floral decorations. The laughter and bonhomie was high all evening and clearly everyone had a most enjoyable time. Will and his team at the Phoenix did a great job making us all feel to at home, so many thanks to them too and our committee who worked so hard to make this all happen and continue to build our community spirit and village feel.
