Colour Photos by Suzie Stirling, 1979

The photos in the gallery below were taken in 1979 by Suzie Stirling, owner of a boutique called Tantrika in Spicer Street. The photos are taken around the intersection of Queen and Spicer Streets and include pictures of Tantrika, and Reads (yes, the Reads still there today). The Cheese Shop was in the premises in Spicer Street now occupied by Woollahra Bookshop. Suzie is the lady in red, spruiking her boutique with a friend. Many thanks to Suzie for these photos.
