Woollahra Fashion & Lifestyle Day - 16 October, 2025 For the second time this year, Woollahra community gathered to celebrate Woollahra 2025 – this time on 16 October for a sensational Fashion and Lifestyle Day created in association with Woollahra Council and the Queen Street & West Woollahra Association and sponsored by 36 local businesses. The Village showed its best colours from a Fashion Parade to Instore Events as well as a luncheon at Bistro Moncur with guest speaker, Maureen Jordan, publisher of Harper’s Bazaar Australia & Esquire Australia, talks by Anne Schofield, Tim Olsen and Peter Switzer. Cassy & The Bossa Beats held stage on the corner of Queen and Moncur outside Summers Florist and Phillippe Wittwer wove his magic along Queen Street and inside the stores with his accordion. Click on the links below for more details and photos courtesy of Michelle Chanique, Lucy Rose Shepherd & Wendell Levi Teodoro, Lucinda Challinor and Darcey Scarlett. It couldn't happen without a huge amount of work and effort from our local community and our supporters and sponsors who have been so generous and are listed below. Don't forget to support all the local business and help the community grow. Finally, I’d like to thank a number of individuals for all their hard work, including Grant Pearce, editor in chief of Esquire, creative director of the show; David Heimann from Orson and Blake behind the scenes curating the collections; the Woollahra Hotel, for the use of these premises; the organising committee, including Fiona Coogan and my fellow Association committee members Susie Willmott and Jaqui Lane for all their time and effort, Lucinda Challinor and Darcey Scarlett for their fantastic social media work and, last but not least, Mary Read, for her energy, knowledge, enthusiasm and hard work in making this Fashion Day happen. Many thanks to everyone and to those I haven’t mentioned as well. Enjoy the photographs and memories.
