NSW Government's Rezoning Proposals for Woollahra and Edgecliff

The opportunity to make your opinion heard is limited, with submissions closing on October 7. Please understand what these rezoning proposals mean for the whole area and your precinct in particular by reading the Overview and the relevant Details section, then go to the NSW Planning Portal here, scroll to the bottom and click the Make a Submission button.

The information below is provided to help concerned residents as there are numerous documents and numbers on the diagrams are hard to read. We will be continuously updating these pages in the next few days. If you are interested in a deep dive into the documents released by the government, go to the NSW Planning Portal here.The three most important are:

1. Explanation of Intended Effect, which gives more of an overview
2. Draft Design Guide, which goes into much more detail for each precinct.
3. Edgecliff-Woollahra Precinct State Led Rezoning by Warren and Mahoney, which is the source document for the plans referenced in the above two document. Download this from the Technical Documents section.

These rezoning proposals are an existential threat to the character and charm of Woollahra and will impact everyone living here.  Please make a submission and ensure your views are heard.
