The Queen Street & West Woollahra Association is appalled and horrified by the wanton acts of vandalism and destruction seen in Wellington Street and surrounding streets last night. This was not just attack on local Jewish residents but on the Woollahra community as a whole. One of the wonderful things about our suburb is that, despite diverse backgrounds, we live in a society which respects all cultures and where everyone can feel safe. Acts such as these must not divide us but unite us against those who seek to create and exploit division and distrust.
