2026 Christmas Window Display Competition

Register now and start planning your display!

The QSWWA will again be holding the Christmas Window Display Competition this year for all businesses in the area, our 7th event since the start in 2020. With over 50 eye catching entries last year, competition will be fierce, so start planning your entry now. It's a fantastic opportunity to attract and retain local and out of area shoppers to our wonderful precinct.

Entry is free to all businesses in the Queen Street & West Woollahra district, so just click on the button to enter. Judging will be on the Saturday, December 5. Winners will be announced at the Awards Presentation event on Wednesday, December 9 at a venue to be announced, so please book that into your diary. Further details to come.

Get your creative juices flowing and start planning your prize-winning entry now and let’s keep the crowds coming back to Queen Street and surrounds! Entries must be received by November 1 latest to ensure inclusion in the November Village Voice.

Discover Woollahra’s Art Scene

Join us for an intimate evening guided walking tour through four unique art galleries in the heart of Woollahra, discovering the artists, galleries and creative community that make this neighbourhood so special.

Enjoy a glass of Australian wine and delicious canapés at each gallery, while meeting artists, hearing their stories and enjoying live entertainment along the way.

With just 5–10 minutes between galleries, the leisurely walk takes you through the beautiful streets of Woollahra, connecting you with the local art scene in a relaxed and social setting.

REGISTER NOW FOR THE LATE NIGHT THURSDAY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EVENT TO ENSURE LISTED IN ALL PUBLICITY AND PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

WHO IS ELIGIBLE: all stores in Woollahra who want to participate.

WHEN: Thursday 26 November 2026, 4.00-8.0pm

WHAT: A Christmas late night opening event for all stores in Woollahra to invite their customers to a suitable Christmas event to start the festive season with a bang and offer them bubbles and canapes, special deals for the weekend, music etc. This is a great way to strengthen ties with existing customers, attract new customers and position Queen Street as the retail capital of Sydney. We will be providing street music and other entertainment to give the street a really festive feel and the Woollahra Hotel will also be holding it's Christmas Fair that night. It's going to be a wonderful evening!
